Building Blocks for Lights!
As easy as the toy building blocks you played with as a child,
LED Bricks provide an amazingly simple modular light to shape
and place light where you need it to be. The base structure is
created by the bracket which is connected to its neighbor by an
interlocking metal shim.
After the brackets are placed in the pattern required and attached
to the placement surface, double connecters are attached to
the brackets via a standard philips fine thread screw. Single or
blind connectors are placed where it is necessary to terminate
the open connections of the LED Brick. After the connectors are
placed, the LED Brick Square or Triangle are pressed into the
connectors and locked down by plastic pins with a straight blade
screwdriver.
As you can see, the entire system is surface mounted and as each
LED Brick passes the 24 Volts through the double connectors
to its neighbor, standard or unique shapes of luminaires can be
created without complex installation efforts. Luminaires can be
created as single structures or smaller shapes connected to each
other via cables. Line voltage is kept separate from the luminaire
as the reducing transformer can be kept whatever distance is
necessary from the light fixture that your situation requires.
All that is required to maintain consistant illumination is to
maintain a parallel circuit in your installation.
With this degree of modularity and all the advantages of solid
state lighting, LED Bricks offer new opportunities in general
illumination, outdoor/indoor illuminated signage, marine and slip
lighting, landscape, pool and fountain lights, RV and with the
upcoming Solar Brick many off the grid lighting solutions.
